Bankruptcy
At Oths, Heiser, Miller, Waigand & Clagg, LLC we recognize that sometimes life happens. From unexpected illnesses, divorces, loss of a job, loss of an extra income source, to hundreds of other reasons, there are times when you may just need a little bit of help to get your finances in order. That's where we come in. We can clear up the rumors and stigmas about filing bankruptcy, decide if it's right for you, and help you to get the fresh start you need. We can also answer your questions and concerns about filing for bankruptcy if you decide that's the route you would like to take, because we know that the unknowns can be scary.
Attorney Rebecca Waigand has been representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings since 2011. In 2020 she opened up her practice to individual debtor representation in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings. Having been a creditor's attorney first, Rebecca realizes the pitfalls that can plague a debtor when attempting to file a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceeding if the filings are done incorrectly or inaccurately. She can also promise you that your experience with this office will not be one where you don't speak to your lawyer until you get to court, as Rebecca participates in all steps of the process.
Rebecca is licensed to practice in both the Southern District of Ohio and Southern District of West Virginia and she understands the nuances and differences in practicing in each district.
