Rusty has been practicing with the firm since 1990. He is a general practitioner with experience conducting jury trials (both civil and criminal) and bench trials. While his career has been mainly focused on general civil litigation, Rusty has practiced almost every area of law and has gained significant experience in plaintiff personal injury cases, business and corporate law, commercial law, and real estate.

Rusty serves as local counsel representing multiple counties in Ohio in the multi-district litigation against the opioid distributors and manufacturers.

Rusty has been a Court Mediator for the Jackson County Court of Common Pleas since 2016. 

 

Rusty graduated from West Virginia University (B.S.) in 1980 and from Capital University Law School (J.D.) in 1990. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio in 1990.

 

Rusty is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Jackson County Bar Association (Past President).

Rusty also participates in Scioto County Habitat for Humanity and served on their board from 2007 to 2013.
