Rebecca Waigand

Rebecca joined the firm in 2011 and she has been a shareholder since 2014. She has experience in many practice areas, including creditor/debtor law, post-judgment collections, bankruptcy,  litigation, contract review, personal injury law, divorce, child custody matters and family law, business law, appellate practice, and criminal law. In 2023 Rebecca was appointed Collections Special Counsel for the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Rebecca is very proud to be the firm's first female partner.

 

Rebecca married her husband in 2014, and together they have two young children. 

Rebecca graduated from Eastern Michigan University (B.S.) in 2006 and from The University of Toledo College of Law (J.D.) in 2011.

Rebecca is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the West Virginia State Bar Association, Credit Education Coalition, Electric Cooperative Bar Association, and the Jackson County Bar Association. 

 

In 2017, Rebecca was awarded the Ohio State Bar Foundation's District 8 Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 & Under.
